AirTrans performs pick-ups, deliveries and transfers of international and domestic freight at DFW Airport.  AirTrans also provides Hot Shot service throughout the United States.

AirTrans currently has eight bobtail trucks with lift gates, eight tractors, 17 trailers and two vans.  Most of the bobtails and all of the tractors and trailers are air-ride.  One of the trailers is a roller bed and we have the capability of building and breaking down cookie sheets.  Our equipment is up-to-date and is either owned by the company or leased under a full service maintenance program.

The company is located in a modern fully equipped air-forwarding complex adjacent to the DFW Airport and has approximately 12,000 square feet of warehouse capacity.  We have access to 17 loading docks and ample storage and warehouse capacity, just give us a call.

Our customers normally call or fax in orders but now they can E-mail their orders.  The orders are processed on computers and then dispatched to the drivers.  The billing is computerized using special proprietary software developed by AirTrans that ties in the orders, dispatch and the customer’s documents.  A constant control is available and monitored to keep track of all orders and deliveries.  Drivers report in after every stop to ensure that dispatch can plan their next stop and take advantage of orders that have just come in.  This allows for maximum performance and utilization of our trucks and drivers.

The company maintains insurance on its equipment and on the freight that it handles.  We have in operation a company damage control program that helps prevent major claims and results in minimal claims being filed.

Our normal operating hours are 8 AM to 10 PM, Monday through Friday and 8 AM to 2 PM on Saturday.  Our customers can reach us by phone at any hour and we will make ourselves available at any time based upon your needs.
